On this page you will find resources to help you revise for your Biology IGCSE exam. This will include hints, tips, videos, summaries, tests and planners.
Why not download my revision tracker? Each student has areas of weakness and it’s vital to identify these and not just work on the stronger topics that make you feel confident. Every time you complete a test or a past paper question, you should write down anything you get wrong on the tracker. This will give your revision a much better focus leading up to the exams.
Getting a good result in IGCSE can come down to two major areas, factual recall and exam technique. Biology is a learning subject and you must be able to commit the major facts, keywords and definitions to memory if you want to achieve a top grade. Once you have done this you can then build on your exam technique using past paper questions to help you develop data interpretation, application of knowledge and analytical skills.

I have written quick recall tests to help you with each section of the course. You can download all the tests in one document at a reduced price of £3.75
My best selling resource is the ultimate presentation bundle. This is over 750 PowerPoint slides that take you through the entire course section by section in just the right amount of detail.
You can also download this great resource for testing your knowledge of the major diagrams in the course. There are 25 key diagrams here which are easily printable and it also has the answers.

Individual Section Revision Tests
This test covers Section A: Organisms and Life Processes. When you have completed the revision quiz, correct it using the textbook and then try it again. Repetition is important if you want these facts to remain in your long term memory. I’d recommend doing the test every few days in the lead up to the exam.
This test covers Section B: Animal Physiology. It’s a 100 question revision quiz that will really help your factual recall.
This test covers Section C: Plant Physiology. In my experience students’ understanding of plant physiology is not usually as good as their animal physiology so you can improve yours by downloading this revision quiz.
This test covers Section D: Ecology and the Environment, often overlooked but there is plenty to learn including many key definitions.
This test covers Section E: Variation and Selection.
This test covers Section F: Microorganisms and Genetic Engineering
