Society of Biology Photography Competition 2013

Spring is finally here! If you are out and about enjoying the sunshine then make sure you take your camera with you. This year’s Society of Biology Photography competition is now open for entries. This year’s theme is ‘Feeding Life’. This could encapsulate many aspects of food and diet, from parasites and pests, to GM crops or obesity. But make sure as the website says that ‘whether illustrated on a global, organismal, cellular or molecular scale, your photograph should draw attention to the topic of food and biology in a unique and thought-provoking way’.

The top prize for the under 18 category is £500 and for over 18’s it is £1000.

The deadline is midnight 31st July 2013.
