Dr Mike is at Fettes Science Week!

This week is Science Week at Fettes College which means students can look forward to a whole range of activities, trips and talks.

On Thursday 7 March we will be joined by Dr. Mike Leahy, a virologist and TV presenter, best known for his series ‘Bite Me with Dr. Mike Leahy’ on the National Geographic Channel.

Dr Mike will be presenting ‘Their World in Your Motions‘ to the Sixth Form at 5pm, and the Middle School will get to enjoy ‘Disgusting Diseases, Killer Bugs and Bloodsucking Parasites‘ at 7.30pm.

There will also be an inflatable planetarium on site, an eggmobile competition, famous scientist treasure hunt, photography competition, and trips to Edinburgh’s Camera Obscura and the National Museum of Scotland. Personally I’m very excited!

Take a look at Dr Mike in action below in his TV series ‘Bite me’.
